Pharma products inflation rate in Argentina 2016-2021, by type
In 2021, the inflation rate of prescribed pharmaceutical products amounted to about 51.88 percent in Argentina, up from an annual price change of around 32.66 percent reported a year earlier. That same year, over-the-counter pharmaceutical products registered an inflation rate of about 49.2 percent, approximately 19.25 percentage points higher than the previous year. The highest inflation rate for both pharmaceutical products in Argentina was reported in 2019.
