In the recent survey conducted in the Philippines, about 46.7 percent of the respondents stated that the Philippines should wait and see what would be the viability of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, before joining the pact. Whereas, only 6.7 percent of the respondents affirmed to join the pact if the United States re-joins.
