China: important attributes contributing to beauty 2019

A survey on female and male beauty, conducted by Ipsos in May 2019, found that Chinese respondents had relatively high standards on beauty image. Around 65 percent of the respondents in China considered youthfulness to be important in making a female beautiful. This was almost a double of the global average of 34 percent. Among all Chinese respondents, dignity and confidence were stated as the top attributes for both male and female beauty.
