France: average time spent watching TV vs. digital videos 2017-2021

The graph illustrates the average time French users spent every day watching TV or digital videos (from connected devices) from 2017 to 2021, in hours. The total viewing time among adults in France was suspected to remain at four hours and 30 minutes through 2021. While TV made up the majority from 2017 to 2021, the time spent was said to drop from three hours and 46 minutes in 2017 to three hours and 27 minutes in 2021. Digital video was directly replacing the lost TV viewing time. Digital video time among adults would supposedly grow from 55 minutes to 59 minutes in 2020 and one hour and three minutes in 2021.
