Global death rate due to unsafe water by country 1990-2017
The number of deaths due to unsafe water sources has generally decreased over time. In low-income countries, unsafe water sources are the cause of six percent of deaths as of 2017. In Nigeria, 7.34 percent of deaths are due to these unsafe water resources.
