Average milk yield per cow in Belgium 2010-2021
Between 2010 and 2021, the average milk yield per cow in Belgium increased. The milk yield peaked in 2020, at nearly 8,250 kilos per cow. This was 1,800 kilos more than the average yield had been in 2010. Cows in the Netherlands had the highest average yield of the three Benelux countries, at rouhly 8,900 kilos. In 2021, the average cow in Luxembourg produced roughly 8,140 kilos of milk.
