Buy-to-let: leading mortgage lenders UK

In 2021, the buy-to-let gross lending amounted to approximately 47 billion British pounds, with the 15 largest lenders accounting for about 39 billion British pounds. Nationwide BS topped the list for mortgage lending in the UK with approximately 7.4 billion British pounds. Lloyds Banking Group and Santander finished the top three mortgage lenders with 6.8 billion and 4.3 billion British pounds in gross lending respectively.
