According to a survey conducted in April 2020, most Moroccans were susceptible to obtain information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic from radio and television spots and news, and this was represented by 86.6 percent of the household respondents. A greater portion of this percentage lived in the rural areas. Furthermore, a smaller percentage of the respondents (6.2 percent) retrieved information about the outbreak through social media, the majority of which lived in the urban areas.
