Nigerians intending to migrate trough the desert 2020, by state and gender
Among Nigerians intending to migrate by desert routes, male migrants represent the majority of them. According to a study published in 2021, 92 percent of migrants intending to emigrate from Lagos were planning to take desert routes, while women were only eight percent.
