Support for carbon neutrality in the United States 2022, by political party
According to a survey on carbon neutrality conducted in the United States in 2022, support for the country taking steps to become carbon neutral by 2050 varies by political party identification. Survey results show that 44 percent of Republican leaning respondents supported becoming carbon neutral, while 90 percent of Democratic leaning respondents supported such policy. Overall, a clear majority of 69 percent of U.S. adults support measures for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
