Per capita greenhouse gas emissions in CEE 2016-2022, by country
Over the observed years, Poland and Czechia recorded the highest per capita greenhouse gas emissions among the observed Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. In 2022, the volume of GHG emissions per capita was the highest in Poland, reaching 9.59 metric tons, marking a decrease compared to the previous year. By contrast, Croatia recorded the lowest GHG emissions, totaling 4.61 tons per capita.
