In 2022, nearly 1.9 million used cars were sold in Spain, which was a decrease of around 5.3 percent year-over-year. That year, used car sales were impacted by the semiconductor shortage which forced rental companies and companies to maintain their current fleet. However, sales are forecast to pick up in 2023, reaching nearly 2.2 million in 2025.
