Leading categories of celebrities followed on social media worldwide 2018

This statistic presents the top categories of celebrities or public figures followed on social media platforms by social media users worldwide as of April 2018. According to the findings, 57 percent of respondents reported to following music artists and bands across the various social media platforms, while 50 percent of social media users stated to be following actors, actresses, and other television and movie stars.
