Primary source of news in India 2019, by age
A majority of Indians under the age of 35 preferred to use online sources to access news, whereas, those above 35 years of age are more inclined towards traditional offline sources for news as of early January 2019. About 56 percent of the surveyed respondents under 35 years of age use online sources as their primary source of news, whereas only 38 percent of the older respondents consider online news as their primary news source. Radio remained a low priority for both age groups, however the younger respondents used it a little more than the older respondents.
