From 2020 to 2023, organizations mentioned lack of qualified staff as the biggest challenge to faster cloud adoption with 37 percent of respondents choosing it as of 2023, although this represented a rather high decrease compared to the previous year. Other important barriers to cloud adoption were legal and authority compliance, as well as data security, loss and leakage risks.
