Share of live commerce spend in total Singles' Day spending China 2021, by city tier
According to a survey among two thousand Chinese consumers in October 2021, residents of the first-tier cities planned on spending on average 25 percent of their total Singles' Day budgets on live commerce. In comparison, live streaming only accounted for 18 percent of the expected Singles' Day sale spending of those who live in tier-3 and tier-4 cities.
