Impact of COVID-19 on fresh vegetable sales in the U.S. 2020-2022
Vegetable sales in 2020 increased every quarter due to the impacts of COVID-19 on eating and shopping behavior. In 2021, sales continued to grow in the first quarter by an almost five percent increase in U.S. dollar sales from the previous quarter, but then dropped by 7.1 percent in the second quarter.
