Investments made by the space industry South Korea 2015-2021
In 2021, the space industry in South Korea made investments worth approximately 264.8 billion South Korean won. This was a decrease for the second consecutive year. With the successful launch of the Nuri rocket (also known as KSLV-II) in 2022, South Korea became the seventh country in the world that was able to put in orbit a satellite that weighs over one metric ton.
