In 2021/2022, the average person in the United Kingdom (UK) consumed about 14 grams of burgers per week. Consumption since 2006 was lowest in 2020/2021 with seven grams. The same overall development can be seen when we look at the out of home consumption of all meat products.
”What will it be?”
When eating out in the UK, consumers have lots of food types they prefer eating in restaurants that come before burgers. The same is true for takeaway's. One type of food that beats Burgers in popularity, whether for takeaway or for restaurant consumption, is Chinese food. Pizza too is a bigger favorite amongst takeaway consumers.
