Internet ad spending in Italy 2016-2025, by device
In 2020, internet advertising spending in Italy amounted to 3.64 billion U.S. dollars, out of which 2.09 billion were traced back to wired internet and 1.55 billion to mobile internet. The values for both wired and mobile internet were expected to increase over the following five years, reaching a respective 2.48 billion and 3.05 billion in 2025. Mobile internet was expected to surpass its wired counterpart in 2023.
