Daily media usage in the Netherlands 2019, by activity
When comparing media activities in 2019, watching television on a daily basis was more common for Dutch consumers than using social media every day. This according to annual survey results based off a question on how frequently people in the Netherlands were using certain kinds of (online) media. In 2019 texting/apping, watching television and using social media were among the most popular daily media activities in the Netherlands. Just over 78 percent of people surveyed indicated that they watched television daily, while an additional 73 percent spent time on social media on a daily basis.
