The advertising revenue earned by the short-form video (SFV) market in India amounted to 50 million U.S. dollars in 2022. As of that year, ad spending on SFV platforms accounted for less than one percent of the overall digital ad expenditure in the country. However, forecasts for 2030 predict a massive growth in SFV ad revenue worth approximately 4.5 billion U.S. dollars, and making up 15 percent of digital ad spends.
