Gen Z and millennials on problems with the news industry in the U.S. 2022
A report held in June 2022 among Gen Z and millennials in the United States revealed that 86 percent believed that news stories creating conflict rather than addressing them were a major or minor problem. Meanwhile, 52 percent felt that made-up stories were a pertinent issue in the news industry, as well as 45 percent who considered journalists having too much opinion in their stories to be very problematic.
