Consumers worried about false information on social media U.S. 2023, by age group
A study held in early 2023 in the U.S. found that adults aged 18 to 24 years were the least concerned about the spread of false information on social media, although 53 percent expressed a fair or high degree of worry about the subject. Meanwhile, a total of 75 percent of adults aged 55 years or older said they were very or somewhat worried, the highest among all U.S. respondents.
